What is NC LIVE?
NC LIVE is North Carolina's statewide library cooperative, supporting 200+ public and academic libraries across North Carolina. Since its founding in 1997, NC LIVE has saved the state millions through innovation and collaborative efforts.
NC LIVE supports education and economic mobility for all North Carolinians by purchasing high quality, online resources for:
- Community Colleges
- Public Libraries
- NCICU Schools
- UNC System Schools
All institutions have equal access to the same resources. Students at small, rural institutions have access to the same resources as students at large research institutions. For many small institutions, NC LIVE provides the only online educational resources available to their communities.
Our resources were used 9.6 million times in 2025 for:
